Since its release on Netflix in October, The Watcher has had the feel of a limited series for good reason: it is. While Ryan Murphy’s latest was supposed to be a one-off story, it has become a streaming sensation and brought back both The Watcher and Dahmer (now known as Monster) for a second season.

In a press statement announcing season two, Bela Bajaria, Netflix’s Head of Global TV, said that “audiences can’t take their eyes off Monster and The Watcher.”

When Season 2 of The Watcher could premiere

The renewal was confirmed not long after The Watcher’s premiere on October 13, 2022, allowing for rapid jumpstarting of Season 2 production. Therefore, the earliest we can expect new episodes to appear is January 2024.

There has been no confirmation yet as to whether or not Season 2 of The Watcher will work as a straight continuation of Season 1, however if it does, the following performers will likely return:
