In February 2021, the crew was seen in Georgia, leading us to believe that the next season will be filmed there. In Spring 2021, Netflix planned to open a facility in Georgia.
On April 6th, the cast members began posting on their Instagram accounts about how filming for Season 2 had already begun. Season 2 of The Good Doctor has now been added to the Project Greenlight in Georgia list, as well as its spinoff, The Good Fight.
