Adam Fredric Duritz, the popular American musician, and songwriter opened up about his romance with the ‘Friends’ alum, Jennifer Aniston. Notably, Adam, 56 dated Jennifer, 52 in 1995 and it can be traced back to meeting at 90s Hollywood hotspot ‘The Viper Room.’
While sitting for an interview with ‘Entertainment Tonight,’ the singer stated, ” A bunch of my friends lied to me and told me she had a crush on me. Those same friends lied to her and told her I had a crush on her.”
Adam, further, mentioned that at that time the show ‘Friends’ was still broadcasted. However, the singer had no idea who Aniston was and never the show. He said, “I had never seen the show and honestly had no idea who she was.”
The singer also noted, “She was really nice, really funny, really pretty, those were pretty good requirements for me and also she liked me. It didn’t last very long, but she’s a nice girl.”
On the other hand, Jenifer while appearing for the ‘Friends reunion special’ earlier this year, admitted that she and her costar David Schwimmer did had an off-screen crush, but never acted to this as that time was not appropriate.
Aniston mentioned, “We were in relationships and it was always never the right time and it wouldn’t have worked,” while chatting on ‘The Howard Stern Show’ of SiriusXM.
The actress also stated, “The beauty of that was that whatever feelings we had we just literally channeled everything into Ross and Rachel and I think that’s maybe why it resonated the way it did. But no, we never, on my life [got together].”
In the context of her love life, Aniston stated, “I would love to find a ‘Fantastic partner.’ It’s not on my radar. I’m interested in finding a fantastic partner and just living an enjoyable life and having fun with one another. That’s all we should hope for. It doesn’t have to be etched in stone in legal documents.”
